In "Wolf Duo" the shadows of the wolves have become reflections of their inner energy. I was thinking about Native American’s respect and reverence for the wolf and how it is celebrated and embodied through art, song and ritual. The wolf has been viewed in many different ways in the United States’ culture, in some areas demonized for its destruction to livestock and competition with wild prey. In this image is unclear if the wolves are attacking or about to be attacked but below them sprouts unusual and beautiful shadows, a reflection of their innate nature.
